The Euthanasia Program in Nazi Germany

The Euthanasia Program in Nazi Germany:

The Nazis and espacially Hitler were guided by their ideologie of the purity and superiority of the German nation and tried everything to make it impossible for persons with mentally illness, deformations, shortly for so-called “shameful life“, to reproduce.
According to Hitler it was the most horribel thing to have a baby if you are genetically ill or have other strong diseases. From this idea the program T4 has spread all over Germany.
Program T4 was ordered in Oktober 1939. This program meant to kill those people which were declared to be shameful to live. These killings have lead to nearly 200.000 dead people and children and which was the most awsome time in the history of eugenics.
The meant persons were located and brang to the euthanasia camps. Until 1941 there were erected 6 of these extermination camps in order to extinguish life. The responsibles tried to keep the murders in secret but some relatives became suspicious whereupon the government has officially cancelled the euthanasia program in August 1941. But inofficial and more secretly than before the killings have continued in the 6 euthanasia camps and also in many psychiatries.
The victims were not only killed by gasing but also by intended starvation and overdosed pharmaceuticals. During the years 1939-1941 70.000 people were murdered in the six extermination camps what shows how merciless and grueling this program was acted out.
Furthermore these victims have also been used for race theories experiments of the Nazi ideologie and other human experiments in order to get new scientific findings about the human body.
In 1942, jews have also to be killed in order to solve the “jewish question“ which meant the planned extinction of the whole jewish race. Huge masses of jewish people were sent to concentration camps. These people were sent by train transporters cooped up as cattle. Most of them, who was too young or too old for working, was gased right at the moment. Those people who were strong enough had to do forced labour, mostly for the German war industrie.
It existed more than one thousand concentration and satellite camps. But the most killings took place in the extermination camps like Auschwitz, Buchenwald or others.
These concentration camps have been the the most brutal and painful places during Hiltler's reign where the most people were murdered. The psychcal effets of such a capture had severe effects for the very few survivals of such a camp. These people have not only lost their weight to the bones, most of them psychally totally destroyed and marked for the rest of his life.
Until 1945, more than six million jews have lost their life during the shoa, to this enormous number come also the dead people killed in the euthanasia program and other enemies of the German Reich.
Finally, this terror hold on until Nazi Germany was defeated in 1945 but the damage remains.
